Hosted by the Sea of Thieves – Australia community, this tournament is designed for pirates who love tactical precision and competitive PvE, further details to come!

What is the Tournament of Daggers?

The Tournament of Daggers is a competitive Sea of Thieves event hosted on Safer Seas, where skilled pirates face off in a unique twist of speedrunning and precision combat using only throwing daggers. This tournament isn't just about how fast you can complete an objective — it's about how well you can combine aim and strategy in a race against the clock and other crews.

Key Features:

• Throwing Daggers Only PvP – no melee, no guns, no bombs
• Objective-Based Challenges – race to complete your mission before your rival crew
• Safer Seas Only – low-interference, private gameplay environment
• Cash Prize + Glory – $200 AUD and a spot in our Guild Hall of Champions

Core Concept

Players will be given specific in-game objectives (Eg. Raid Voyages, Skeleton Forts etc.), but every objective must be completed using throwing daggers only — no guns, no swords, no cannons. Each round is a race against the clock with two crews completing objectives as quickly as possible at the same time, whatever team does it the fastest wins the round. Teams will be able to Veto objectives between rounds.

Tournament Rules

1. Weapon Restrictions

• Only throwing daggers are allowed
• Strictly no cutlasses, guns, blunderbombs, firebombs, or cannons
• Violators will be immediately disqualified

2. Crew Format

• Teams must consist of 2 to 4 players
• Each guild must represent a single crew

3. Match Structure

• Single elimination bracket (Bo3) – one loss and you're out
• Each match is played in Safer Seas with isolated crews
• Objective provided before the match
• Fastest completion wins the round

4. Tournament Prize

• 🥇 1st Place: $200 AUD
• Special mention on our website and Discord
• Bragging rights in the Sea of Thieves Australia community
